This past weekend my daughter had the great privilege to perform in the Velveteen Rabbit that was put on by Ballet Theater San Luis Obispo, a local ballet company. It was a very amazing performance! So very magical! This was her first time performing with a ballet company and she learned sooo much!
The Director Miss Terri took her under her wing, putting her faith into Josie, believing that she really could do it. She pushed, worked her hard, yelled on occasion, and praised, bringing Josie so far in a very short time frame. Josie showed us how quickly she can learn and it just amazed me! 
Our studio director was in the show, along with another student from our studio. It was so great for Josie to go out and dance with another company, not only with her directors blessing and encouragement, but with her too. 
Josie also had another surprise. Her Father and Uncle were able to make the performance. This is the first time that they had been able to see her dance in a very long time. We even got a pic. for proof. Avery rare occurrence indeed. I am very happy that he was able too make it. Thank you Grammie and Papa for helping the boys to make it!
This was a very blessed experience for her! I am very fortunate that her first time dancing out side her studio was full of positive encouraging people.
